Partnership Kursk - Ulm (ZAWIW)

The Kursk institute of management, economics and business since 1999 cooperates with the Center of increase of a general educational level of knowledge of university (ZAWIW) of Ulm.

The university of Ulm with study - scientific centers of medicine, the mathematics, natural sciences and since 1989 - nonproduction sciences and computer science has approached to the decision of a problem of growing requirement of general educational improvement of professional skill. In March, 1994 the Center of increase of a general educational level of knowledge that was reaction to the increased demand of interdisciplinary improvement of professional skill for people of different age in particular pension, has been created.

The main tasks of ZAWIW consist in creation of new methodical plans by formation and training, and their approbation in practice for people of the senior generation. The important component of programs - seasonal Academies. Twice a year during one week from the various scientific points of view on it themes of public value are covered.

Independent occupations of interested persons pass in breaks between Academies in the form of scientific researches and cooperation in groups "Forshendes Lernen", initiated and coordinated by ZAWIW. Nonstop working and coordinated by employees of ZAWIW projects - groups exist in the following areas: natural sciences, ecology, an environment, medicine, humanitarian and social studies, economy, computer science. Their purpose are intensive discussions on cultural, public, economic and political questions on the basis of scientific results and methods. For support of these occupations ZAWIW organizes seminars on introduction in scientific thinking and work and on introduction in a scientific technique of corresponding branch.

Since 1995 on aegis of ZAWIW the numerous research projects stimulating self-training and cooperation of older persons at a regional, state and international level are organized. The main tasks of work is development and reasonable use of new information and communication technologies for people of senior age, and also transfer of experience of the senior generation to various public contexts and dialogue Alt-Jung.

Periodically seiners from Ulm go to Kursk to exchange experience, excursions, and then seiners from Kursk come to Ulm with reciprocal visit.

Partnership Kursk - Spajer

The contract about partnership of Kursk and Spajer was signed on 10 July in 1989. In 1993 The union of friends Kursk - Spajer was created. Alexander Zudov is a chairman of Board of The union of friends Spajer - Kursk, and it is headed by mister Bernd Pavlichek.

Spajer is elder than Kursk more than for 1000 years, but its population is 10 times less. However, the importance of Spajer in the country it is not connected of its size. First of all, Spajer is the famous historical and cultural center of ancient Roman empire, the city possessing reputation of the reliable partner all over the world. It has partners in Gniezno (Poland), Javne (Israel), Ravenna (Italy), Shartr (France), Spolding (Great Britain).

Experience of good cooperation of Spajer with other European cities, has provided in relations between Kursk and Spajer, because real joint cultural and economic projects were successfully realized and will be realized in our cities.

Members of club gather on last Friday of each month. The Center of German culture in the House of Knowledge was opened in 2000 together with the German side. Opening has been dated to 10 - to years anniversary partner relations Kursk - Spajer. The richest library, which contains more than 4000 books and tens films was created. Any reader can find books on economy, psychologies and to management.

Cooperation is supported by meetings and an exchange of experience both in Kursk, and in Spajer.

Partner relations between Spajer and Kursk are based not only on The union of friends Spajer - Kursk, this is also a cooperation between heads of these cities.

On 3 July in 2008 the group of heads of institutions of local government of Kursk area has met the burgomaster of the city of Shpajer mister F. Shajd.

Two-hour discussion on questions of a modern condition of local self-management in Russia and in Germany took place. The German colleague told about operation of administration of city and deputies in the decision of the vital issues which are put by citizens of Spajer.

Okorokova G.P., the rector of Kursk institute of management, economics and business, Basarev N.M., executive director of regional Council of municipal formations of Kursk area took part in this meeting.

Since 30January till 8February in 2009 the delegation of heads and leading experts from Kursk went to Spajer with official visit. The work was based on questions of cooperation with local government, delegations of powers from the supreme directing bodies on lower, to decide problems more effective and fast.

During the meeting in the European Parliament heads of Kursk and Spajer exchanged experience in the decision of the problems which have big importance for citizens of the country and the world community (questions of struggle against corruption, reductions of unemployment, children's criminality, etc.).

The excursion around large industrial enterprises of Shpajer was organized. As a result several contracts about cooperation were made.

Such cooperation has good results.

Partnership with University of Ulm

Partner relations with University of Ulm exist since 2004.

From 4May till 11 May in 2006 the special guest from Germany - Ulrich Zietten - read lectures on economy for students of Kursk institute of management, economics and business. The lecturer told about more than a 30-years operational experience of work as a manager in Germany, Ulm. Lectures were read in English and in German languages, and in English both students and Zietten easily understood each other, without help of the translator. Doctor Zietten told about economic system of Germany and EU.

Many themes were discussed: taxes, the state control, banks and the credit, unemployment, public organizations. It was interesting to know a history of formation of EU, forecasts of development. Doctor Zietten read 2 lectures a day, and each time classrooms were absolutely full by students. But Ulrich Zietten met not only with students, he also discussed problems with Kursk businessmen, answered questions of citizens by radio.

The mane objective of the visit of Zietten, as he said, was an opportunity to get acquainted with Russian culture which long time has been hidden from "extraneous eyes", and for many peoples it remains a riddle now. Kursk institute of management, economics and business has long partner connections with Ulm.

Since 9 till 18 July in 2007 in Ulm (Germany) students MEBIK passed a practice.

There were more than 40 students, who wanted to get acquainted with culture and a history of Ulm, to use English and German languages. Selection of candidates passed in three stages: the first was the resume in English or German languages, the second - testing, the third stage - courses of German language. Only 17 students have successfully passed all stages of selection.

The program of trip included acquaintance to a history of occurrence of the European Community and work of the European Parliament, visiting of the largest enterprises of Germany, such as Liebher (leader of manufacture of cranes in the world), Golden Oxen (one of the largest brewing companies of the country), University of Ulm. Some teachers of university accepted the offer on cooperation with interest.

Partnership Kursk - Bratislava

Partner relations between Kursk institute of management, economics and business and University of Bratislava are based on an exchange of experience, knowledge. teachers from Slovakia come to Kursk for lecturing to students MEBIK.

Since 19 till 28 May in 2008 the visitor from Slovakia - the doctor of natural sciences, professor of University of Bratislava, Joseph Liptak was in MEBIK. During his staying in Kursk, professor Liptak read a course of lectures on mathematical statistics for students of MEBIK. After that, students passed the exam.

On 24 May, the meeting with municipals and teachers of MEBIK about "Social, economic and political transformation of a society. Experience of Slovakia and Russia" has taken place. The professor visited school 6 of Kursk, got acquainted with pupils and teachers. On 26 May the meeting of the professor with deputies of Kursk City assembly has taken place.

MEBIK is open for foreign visitors, and it is always glad to see them, may be that is why foreign scientists so often and willingly visit it. The international exchange of experience in various spheres of management, economy and business - one of composed success of MEBIK, its students and graduates.

Cooperation with National Academy of Management (Ukraine, Kiev)

The contract about cooperation between Kursk institute of management, economics and business and National Academy of management (Ukraine, Kiev) was signed on 29January in 2009. Yerokhin Sergey - rector of National Academy of Management in Kiev and Okorokova Galina - rector of Kursk institute of management, economics and business signed the contract.

Partner relations of cooperation are established with the purpose of expansion of a share of participation in the market of educational services, achievement of optimum results of application of modern techniques and technologies of training.

Cooperation provides: an exchange of students, the academic exchange, joint development, and also an exchange of curricula and programs, work and training of teachers under the contract, a direction for study of students, participation of experts in the analysis and preparation of the conclusions on various aspects of educational activity, use of modern techniques and technologies of training, preparation of the joint specialized editions, development of programs of the training providing training of students, introduction of remote training, coordination of plans of science work of faculties, teachers and students, carrying out of joint scientific and scientific - practical seminars, conferences, symposiums.

In January, 2009 Jury Chugaenko - the professor of National Academy of Management, came in MEBIK for participation in conference "The Role of public organizations and educational establishments CFO of the Russian Federation in formation of the anticorruption standard of behaviour ".

The contract about cooperation between Pacific international academy of modern knowledge on behalf of Alexander Fedorovskiy and Kursk institute of management of economics and business in person Okorokova Galina was signed in 2007, but partner connections are conducted since 2004.
